Apart from being a radio show host at Kiss 100, he is the CEO of Arena media, an event organizing company. The company deals with events in the country and it has employed many youth to do various jobs. He said his firm is part of his ways of giving back to the community through youth empowerment and employment.

When Coronavirus hit Kenya in 2020, Jalang’o started his own TV channel on YouTube that has gained traction with many viewers tuning in to follow his entertaining interviews.

The radio presenter said it was timely to start the TV channel last year because many people began working from home and they had a lot of time to be on the internet.

“We are planning to have it as a fully-pledged TV with more programs and a complete media house,” Jalang’o said.

He advised the youth and anyone trying do something to always keep on pushing and never give up easily.

“If you are out there trying to push your things and stuffs make sure that you don’t give up on your dreams. Keep pushing it because one day it will pay off,” he said.

Jalang’o said Kenyan media industry is growing fast unlike a few years ago.

“Kenyan media is really growing every single day. We have new players coming on board. New media houses are coming up and also social media is taking over as well,” he stated.

He recently declared that he will contest for Lang’ata member of parliament seat in the 2022 general elections.

“I am going to be the next MP of Lang’ata. Youths change your votes, come and vote for us to build a new Lang’ata. I am very serious, I am the next MP of Lang’ata mark this day,” the comedian said.  He adds: “I don’t go for things I can’t get. Start getting used to your future MP.”
