Kenya’s COVID-19 cases rise to 24,441

Kenya records 123 new COVID-19 cases and 54 recoveries

Kenya has recorded 538 new cases of coronavirus after 6,195 people were tested in the past 24 hours, raising the country’s total to 24,441.

Of the cases, 516 are Kenyans while 22 are foreigners.

Of the new cases, 333 are males and 205 are females. The youngest is a two-year old while the oldest is 85 years old.

Some 514 patients have recovered from the disease, taking the total number of recoveries in the country to 10,444.

Eight more patients died, raising fatalities to 399.
