Kenya has confirmed 254 new cases of Coronavirus after 4,859 samples were tested in the 24 hours,Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi said on Wednesday.
This now raises the country’s totalcases to 5,206.
Kenya’s cumulative tests now stand at 151, 361.
From the new cases, the youngest is four years old while the oldest 92 years.
The 254 cases are distributed in Nairobi (127), Mombasa (36), Migori (29), Kajiado (22), Kiambu (12), Busia (9), Uasin Gishu (5), Muranga (3), Machakos and Kilifi (20) cases each, Nakuru, Siaya, Taita Taveta, Garissa, Isiolo, Kakamega and Kisii (1) case each.
The CAS said a total of 41 patients have been discharged, raising number of coronavirus recoveries in the country to 1, 823.
However two more deaths were recorded raising the country’s fatalities to 130.
