Kenya has confirmed 127 new coronavirus cases after 2, 247 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the country to 2, 989, Health CAS Rashid Aman announced on Tuesday.
Some 123 are Kenyans and four are foreigners.
Sixty two of the cases are from Nairobi, Mombasa 34, Busia 14, Machakos 4, Bungoma 3, Kwale 1 and Uasin Gishu 1.
Twenty four patients have been discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries to 873 as death toll rises to 88 after three more patients died in the past 24 hours.
