Kenya records 123 new COVID-19 cases and 54 recoveries

Kenya has confirmed 123 new cases of coronavirus after 2, 112 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, taking the total tally of cases in the country to 2, 216.

Health CAS Rashid Aman said 90 are males while 33 are females.

All are Kenyans.

The new cases are from Nairobi(44), Mombasa(34), Busia(20), Uasin Gishu(12), Kiambu (3), Kajiado (3), Nyeri (3), Garissa (1) and Laikipia (1).

They are between age eight and 84 years.

A record 54 patients have been discharged, total recoveries now at 553 as fatalities rise to 74.
