Kenya has confirmed 72 new cases of COVID-19 after 2, 892 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, Health CAS Rashid Aman said on Tuesday.
This takes the total tally to 2, 093.
The cases are in Nairobi 39, Busia 13, Mombasa 8, Kajiado 4, Migori 3, Kiambu 3, Garissa 2 and Kisumu 1.
Of the cases, 50 are males and 22 are females.
They range between age 11 and 73 years.
Seventeen more patients have been discharged, taking the total number of recoveries to 499 as two more die; total deaths now at 71.
