Kibra United chairman Ibrahim Sebit is confident changes established in the club’s structure and playing side will help the team progress to Division One next season. The chairman revealed the club’s structure provides organo gram that highlights responsibilities of every official in the team.
Sebit claimed when he took over the teams top seat from his predecessors there was no structure that guides officials and the club member in regards to their mandates in the team.
‘’My major priorities are putting leadership structure into the team, make sure everything ran smoothly and abide by the teams constitution,’’ Says Sebit.
On the playing side, Football Kenya Federation Division 2 side are targeting to progress to Division one and bring their fans together to have fans control in Kibra in order to out do their Kibera derby arch rivals Gogo Boys.
He said the secrecy behind coach Caleb Arunga players outstanding performance at the beginning of Division 2 league this with deployment of new faces into the squad, good planning , hard work and discipline among the players.
The club boss stressed they’re going to ship in new players before January window transfer deadline to strengthen departments where necessary. Kibra United boss confirmed they received boats, Jerseys and some funds from Green Light Company who are slated to kick off sponsoring the team officially on January 2020.
‘’We are lucky one of our community member who happen to be the clubs patron’s Green Light Company have agreed to give as an open sponsorship contract that will ran for a stint of three years from 2020 – 2022,’’ Sebit clarified.
According to the Makina based clubchairman, their visibility study established the team can sustain itself by selling their own kits. Kibra United is currently selling their jersey at Ksh 2000 and the profit gained from each kit sold goes back to the club’s account in case of sponsors exit the team can carter for its expenses before getting new financiers.
